My name is Louise White, and I am a professional Virtual Assistant, Legal Transcription Specialist and Document Production Specialist based in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.

 

With more than 36 years' experience in the legal profession, I have built an extensive career supporting solicitors, advocates, courts and professional organisations across Scotland and the UK.  My background spans civil, criminal and employment law, together with senior executive support as Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive of a regeneration company, giving me exceptional organisational, administrative and client service skills.

 

Since establishing my business in 2006, I have specialised in providing accurate, confidential and dependable transcription, document production and administrative support.  I have over 20 years' experience producing verbatim transcripts of court proceedings, police interviews and legal hearings, including six years working on same day and daily court transcripts where accuracy, speed and attention to detail are critical.

 

More recently, I have worked as an AI Quality Assurance Analyst for the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, reviewing and quality-checking AI-generated court transcripts against live audio.  This unique experience enables me to combine traditional transcription expertise with an in-depth understanding of emerging speech-to-text technology, while recognising that human accuracy and judgement remain essential.
